Terms of Service

These terms govern the sale of goods by Shalay Fine Jewellery [company registration number], [registered address], through this website. Please read them before ordering.

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order and verify your payment — not when the order is placed, and not when an automatic acknowledgement is sent. We may decline an order, and will always say why.

Prices are in Pakistani Rupees and include applicable tax unless stated otherwise. Gold prices move, and we may change prices at any time — the price that applies is the one shown when your order is confirmed. If a piece is listed at an obviously wrong price, we will contact you before doing anything, and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

We currently accept manual bank transfer and cash on delivery. For bank transfer, your order is held until the transfer is verified against the reference and receipt you provide. Orders awaiting payment for more than seven days may be cancelled and the stock released.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and made-to-order pieces take longer. Risk passes to you when the order is signed for. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

Your right to cancel and return is set out on our Returns page, which forms part of these terms. Engraved, bespoke and non-standard-size pieces are excluded, because they cannot be resold.

Pieces are guaranteed against manufacturing fault for twelve months from delivery. The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, ordinary wear, or work carried out by another jeweller — which will void it.

We describe every piece as accurately as we can, and state metal, purity, weight and stone details where they apply. Photography is representative: natural stones vary, and hand-finished pieces vary slightly from one another. Gemstone weights are nominal and within normal trade tolerance.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
